就是在公司稳步发展的时候，他才总算有了空闲放下手中的事务，出来散心。就是在这个时候，他认识了一群热爱音乐的朋友们。
“极光”的名字源于他的一时兴起。
那天大家一起讨论的时候他并不在场，不过，在又一次争论不了了之之后；他突然来了灵感，写了一首歌。
那就是极光的成名作《Poiar Lights》。
丛清不知道自己怎么会有那样的灵感，平心而论，丛清更喜欢鼓点那种纯节奏的感觉，而且，比起学了好几年的架子鼓，刚刚才向Jack学习的吉他，他还没有那种如臂指使的熟悉感。但是，不知道是为什么，在黄昏一个人也没有的图书室里，透过高大的落地窗去看即将落幕的夕阳，让他有一种无法言语的激动感觉。
或许称不上是激动，只是有什么闷在心里，仿佛马上就要喷发出来，正好身边放着他准备带去排练室的木吉他，他便拿了起来。
然后？
《Polar Lights》就诞生在那样一个下午，在空无一人的大学图书室里。晚上回到宿舍，丛清又写出了它的歌词。
朋友们听了之后，决定用这首歌去面试，如果通过了，就将乐队的名字，取为“极光”。
结果，他们成功了。
《Polar Lights》在音乐榜的前十上呆了十个星期，他们的乐队彻底火了起来。
第一次开演唱会那天，这首歌是由丛清开的音。他坐在舞台的侧后方，手上敲出一连串热情洋溢的鼓点，然后在间歇的期间，用低沉富有磁性的男低音开口：

Well；you ing？
不得不说，虽然他的声音并不大，也没有那种撕心裂肺的呼喊，但就是这么一段短短的开头，就调动了全场的热情，场内的观众一时都激动得尖叫了起来。

那一次的演唱会获得了巨大的成功，也自此奠定了“极光”在乐坛的地位。
然而后来丛清再没有在演唱会上担任这种起头的角色，后来的演唱会中，这首歌虽然仍旧使人激动奋发，却不再有那种摄人心脾的魔力。
丛清没有太多的时间陪同大家进行巡回演唱会。但是后来在LA的新歌发布会之前，他还是带着一首新歌出现在了大家面前。这一次，这首歌为“极光”开辟了一个新的纪元。
那算得上是音乐界的一次经典。许多有实力的前辈们，也对此记忆犹新。那个气质干净的青年，带给大家的是心灵的震撼！
不仅仅为了他的歌，或许更多的，是为了这个人。

阶梯式的舞台上空荡荡的，唯有左边的最高一级上，坐了一个抱着木吉他的男人。灯光已经全部熄灭，只有一束照在他的身体周围，更显得他形单影只，但也因此多了一种别样的魅惑。
男人的穿着很简单，白色的衬衫，只解开最上面的两个扣子。他低头专注地盯着手中的琴，仿佛这世上再无其他。
然后，他的手动了，一串简单明快的和弦流泻出来，他的表情也生动起来。然后，他开口了，与开始气氛完全不同的明快节奏和深情乐曲抓住了众人的心：

这首歌的前后给人们留下了一个深刻的印象，虽然不知道如何形容，但丛清让人记住了他那种独特的气质。干净、纯洁，却带着一点点黑夜的深沉和魅惑。
丛清自此声明大盛，虽然他总是不明白为什么鼓手会比主唱还要出名，不过，这都不重要，不是吗？爱他的歌迷们是不会介意他们的偶像处在什么位置的。
